Information
This article describes the issues resolved in Switchvox version 6.3.4 (83002). See also: Known Issues.

Version 6.3.4 requires version 6.3.3 (82427).

Enhancements & Issues Resolved

  • SIP Providers have a new Caller ID Setting: If available, use PAID/RPID for incoming Caller ID. If YES, Switchvox uses the P-Asserted Identity header and/or the Remote Party ID header (instead of the From header) on incoming calls from this provider.
  • Personal call rules set to Ring All Immediately now correctly send the calling Switchvox phone extension's caller ID, instead of sending Switchvox's general outgoing caller ID.
  • Caller ID and redirecting numbers now always truncate at a semicolon for display, so that caller ID does not include content other than caller name and number.
  • Further improvements were made to the setting of the PRI redirecting Reason and SIP Diversion Header when calls are being sent out of the PBX. It's important that your provider settings contain a Provider Caller ID Number (SIP Provider or PRI Channel Group), to ensure that calls are completed successfully with accurate caller ID. Incomplete or inaccurate caller ID can cause a provider to decline a call.
  • The Import Extensions tool now correctly handles updates and Digium Phone assignments, when a digium_phone_mac_address is added or changed.
  • The Directory extension now correctly uses language sound packs for system sounds.
  • Switchboard Queue Calls Waiting widget now correctly drops a call from the widget where the call was the first session of an assisted transfer into the queue.
  • Sub-admins are now able to add Contacts to Rapid Dial Lists.
  • Recordings are no longer backed up before the call is completed when Throughout the Day is used and the offload occurs while the recording is being made. This created extra, unusable files.
  • Multiple concurrent faxing is now correctly supported in specific licensing situations.
  • MP3 files can now be uploaded where the system previously rejected certain files.
  • For Extend API users, the digest challenge sent from the Switchvox server now sets the qop directive's value to "auth" (which indicates MD5(method:digestURI)). If you are using an HTTP client that supports RFC-2617, you should not be affected by this change.
  • Error logs are now available for each of the latest 7 days, where they were missing under specific circumstances.
  • Call Reports now correctly report calls that were sent to voicemail.
  • Call Logs and Call Recordings lists that are multi-page now correctly show the number of items and the total items (next to the page-number dropdown menu), and correctly allow viewing using the page-number dropdown menu.
  • Additional numbers can now be added to a Contact that is from a Peered Switchvox.
