IVR Actions
You can add, modify, or delete actions associated with an IVR Menu. Most actions have a configuration page on which you can specify the details of the action, then save your changes.
Adding an Action to an IVR Menu
- Click either Create Action or the Modify IVR Actions from the IVR Menu Details. This displays either the Create Action page, or the Modify IVR Actions page.
- If modifying, click the Create IVR Action button to display the Create IVR Action page.
- Select an action from the Action Type dropdown menu. After you make a selection, the Action Description displays a short description of the selected action.
- Click Next.
- Complete the detail of the action as appropriate, then click Save Settings.
Modifying an Existing Action
- Click Modify Actions in the IVR Menu Details. This displays the Modify IVR Actions page.
- Click the Modify icon for the action you want to modify. This displays the Modify Action page.
- Make your changes and click Save Settings.
Deleting an Existing Action
- Click Modify Actions in the IVR Menu Details. This displays the Modify IVR Actions page.
- Click the Delete button for the action that you want to remove. This displays the Delete Action page. Click Yes, Delete Action.
