Updating to Switchvox 6.2.1

« Go Back
Information
This article describes the issues resolved in Switchvox version 6.2.1 (80665). See also: Known Issues.

Updating to version 6.2.1 requires that you already be on version 6.1.2. See the article Correct Switchvox SMB Software Upgrade Path for the full path of required updates.

Issues Resolved

  • Voicemail messages are no longer displayed with the recipient's extension information in the case where the recipient used the Send VM function.
  • Switchboard no longer fails to load when it encounters names with select diacritical symbols.
  • Switchboard Contacts & Tags widget now correctly orders by last name when SIP extension(s) do not have a last name.
  • For the case where a SIP Provider rejects an external-incoming call being sent outside of Switchvox with the original external-incoming caller ID, an extension's cascade and ring-all personal Call Rules have an option to turn off Preserved Caller ID. If caller ID is not preserved, the call is sent outside Switchvox with the caller ID as configured in Switchvox. (That configuration is managed in Setup > VOIP Provider settings.)

NOTE:  This article describes version 6.2.1 (80665). Previous version is 6.2, later version is 6.3.
